Having a passion to see women living at their fullest God-given potential, she became the Assistant Director of Daughters of Destiny which helps to develop and empower young single mothers in Christian living. First Lady Green has a genuine love for God, her family, and the work of the ministry. She loves praying, teaching, writing and serving the Lord which she plans to do all the days of her life.
She married the love of her life, Pastor Samuel L. Green, III. Through this union, God blessed them with three saved sons, Samuel, IV (daughter-in-love, Naomi); Quinton; and Christopher (daughter-in-love, LaToya) and four grandchildren. She enjoys being a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Worshipper, mentor, virtuous servant, and vessel of grace are the characteristics of this dynamic woman of God. Missionary Margaret Elaine Green is the First Lady of the St. Johns Church of God in Christ, Newport News, VA. She has served faithfully providing love and loyal support to her husband in ministry.
She received her Evangelist/Missionary License under the leadership of Mother Featherson. She serves in several capacities of ministry to include: Founder of Soldier Sisters, Assistant Director of Daughters of Destiny, President of Ministers, Deacons, and Trustee Wives, and President of the Prayer and Bible Band.
As a powerful intercessory prayer warrior, First Lady Green was inspired by the Holy Spirit to organize a women’s ministry called “Soldier Sisters,” women of prayer. Through this ministry, women are strengthened, encouraged, and renewed as they come out every Thursday morning to pray for their families, our nation, our churches, and for the Kingdom of God to rule on earth.
